Blocada britanicilor si restrictiile de import au taiat furnizarea pigmentilor nemtesti catre alte tari, iar tesatoriile puteau folosi doar nuante sterse, neutre, similare uniformelor de armata: gri, verde militaresc, bejuri. De disperare, in 1915, manufacturierii americani pun bazele organizatiei Textile Color Cards (TCCA) ca sa suplineasca aceasta nisa-lipsa din piata, iar de la mijlocul anilor &#8217;50 impreuna cu Pantone\u00a0 incep sa previzioneze si sa popularizeze tendintele cromatice (pentru moda, design de produs si design interior).<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Stire despre paletarele originale TCAA, publicata in NY Times in iunie 1915\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stylediary.ro\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/color-card.PNG\" alt=\"Stire despre paletarele originale TCAA, publicata in NY Times in iunie 1915\" width=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ca sa inchid bucla deschisa cu Funny Face: in 1999 Pantone declara ca albastrul Cerulean urma sa fie culoarea primului an din mileniul doi, iar cativa ani mai tarziu nuanta cu pricina da nastere unui alt moment cinematografic.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8222;Diavolul se imbraca de la Prada&#8221;, Andy &#8211; nou-venita in lumea modei, complet dezinteresata de aceasta si foarte <em>style-challenged<\/em> &#8211; primeste o lectie despre teoria filtrarii trendurilor de la glaciala Miranda Priestly. Cu o voce care ar fi putut taia diamante, Miranda o informeaza pe Andy ca puloverul ei lalau nu este doar albastru deschis, ci albastru Cerulean.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"pradadevil.png\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stylediary.ro\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/pradadevil.png\" alt=\"pradadevil.png\" width=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Urmeaza monologul deja celebru, scurta istorie a drumului facut de culoarea respectiva din studioul unui designer pana la magazinul din colt, uitand sa mentioneze rolul vreunui birou de tendinte: <em>&#8222;You go to your closet and you select&#8230; I don&#8217;t know&#8230; that lumpy blue sweater, for instance, because you&#8217;re trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back. But what you don&#8217;t know is that that sweater is not just blue, it&#8217;s not turquoise. It&#8217;s not lapis. It&#8217;s actually Cerulean. And you&#8217;re also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Oscar de la Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns. And then I think it was Yves Saint Laurent&#8230; wasn&#8217;t it, who showed cerulean military jackets? And then cerulean quickly showed up in the collections of 8 different designers. And then it filtered down through the department stores, trickled on down into some tragic Casual Corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin.\u00a0 However, that blue represents millions of dollars and countless jobs and it&#8217;s sort of comical how you think that you&#8217;ve made a choice that exempts you from the fashion industry when, in fact, you&#8217;re wearing the sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room from a pile of stuff. &#8222;<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Randul 1 si 2 (poza stanga si mijloc): Yves Saint Laurent S\/S 2002; randul 2 (poza dreapta): Oscar de la Renta S\/S 2002\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stylediary.ro\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/ysl4.jpg\" alt=\"Randul 1 si 2 (poza stanga si mijloc): Yves Saint Laurent S\/S 2002; randul 2 (poza dreapta): Oscar de la Renta S\/S 2002\" width=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Acum, ca aveti la indemana toate aceste informatii, sunteti mai mult sau mai putin tentate sa cautati\/ urmariti\/ adoptati tendintele cromatice?<\/p>\n<p>Personal, cred ca atunci cand vom trage linie, foarte putine dintre noi se vor situa cu adevarat in afara trendurilor si, prin urmare, in afara consumerismului de masa. In dulapurile fiecareia se va gasi ceva &#8211; o culoare, o croiala, o lungime, un tip de haina &#8211; care ne-a fost impus din exterior si caruia i-am cedat, crezand ca propriul gust, propriile preferinte ne dicteaza alegerea. Pentru a ramane competitive si relevante pentru public, brandurile de moda si retailerii se simt obligati sa urmeze directiile industriei, stabilite cu mult inainte ca produsele respective sa intre in magazin. Culoarea in special este cea care diferentiaza si reinnoieste o garderoba, o tinuta, o colectie.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"moodboard-pantone-honeysuckle.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stylediary.ro\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/moodboard-pantone-honeysuckle.jpg\" alt=\"moodboard-pantone-honeysuckle.jpg\" width=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chiar daca rozul honeysuckle isi va fi facut deja intrarea in garderobele si casele noastre &#8211; sub forma unor accesorii, a unui obiect de design interior, a buchetului tau de mireasa, a unui nou lac de unghii &#8211; , in scurt timp in magazine va capata un loc pe rastelurile de reduceri masive sau va fi ingropat in fundul unui dulap. <em>After all<\/em>, trebuie sa facem loc culorii anului 2012, indiferent care va fi aceea (eu cred ca va fi o nuanta de verde).<\/p>\n<p>PS: ma mana curiozitatea sa va intreb.
