{"id":371,"date":"2007-12-15T21:25:36","date_gmt":"2007-12-15T19:25:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stylediary.ro\/wordpress\/?p=371"},"modified":"2012-08-07T19:55:53","modified_gmt":"2012-08-07T16:55:53","slug":"tradutore-tradittore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stylediary.ro\/wordpress\/2007\/12\/15\/tradutore-tradittore\/","title":{"rendered":"Tradutore, tradittore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Am cumparat ieri numarul 2 al Harper&#8217;s Bazaar Romania.\u00a0 Nu am sa comentez aici alegerile stilistice facute de cei din redactia de moda (poate intr-un alt post), dar nu pot sa trec cu vederea o greseala de toata jena.\u00a0 Habar n-am cine este Diana Stoian, cea care a tradus articolul lui Simon Doonan (pe care, de altfel, il puteti citi <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/fashion\/fashion-articles\/clothes-aging-you-1007-2\" target=\"_blank\">aici in original<\/a>), insa simpla cunoastere a limbii engleze nu este suficienta pentru a lucra in redactia unei reviste de moda.\u00a0 Ca sa nu mai spun ca si redactorul insarcinat cu BT-ul articolul a fost, in cazul de fata,\u00a0neatent sau incult.<\/p>\n<p>Pot sa inteleg ca articolul avea nevoie de adaptari (oricum ai intoarce-o, nu ai cum sa stapanesti frazeologia limbii romane atat de bine incat sa traduci anumite jocuri de cuvinte: &#8222;whether you&#8217;re eating blackberries or just fiddling with one&#8221;), dar este o dovada crasa de incompetenta si lipsa de cultura generala sa traduci &#8222;I just sat there &#8211; <strong><em>like Whistler&#8217;s mother<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; staring at the plastic covered catwalk&#8221; prin &#8222;m-am asezat pe scaun si am intepenit acolo &#8211; ca <em><strong>mama lui Whistler din American Pie&#8230;&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pentru numele lui Dumnezeu, fato, unde ai mers la scoala si cati ani ai?\u00a0 Chiar nu ai auzit de tabloul &#8222;Mama Artistului&#8221; pictat de Whistler? Care e legatura din American Pie si arta?
