Este o noua obsesie, ce da nastere unor demersuri care ii lasa pe multi perplecsi&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contextul<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Omniprezenta din peisajul modei (reviste, campanii de publicitate, social media) a manechinelor tinere si silfide a dat nastere unui val de crispari. Acuzate de incitare la anorexie, invinovatite de crearea complexelor de inferioritate in randul femeilor &#8222;normale&#8221;, suspectate de promovarea unor morfologii &#8222;nerealiste&#8221;, presa feminina si brandurile de moda au ajuns sa provoace reactii violente din partea cititoarelor si, evident, a consumatoarelor. Iar daca acuzatele incearca sa se adapteze, livrand din cand in cand o editie speciala dedicata manechinelor <em>plus-size<\/em>, o <em>&#8222;black issue&#8221;<\/em> sau alte variante similare consacrate unui anumit tip de fizic aflat in minoritate, manechinele sunt in continuare vazute drept prea slabe, prea inalte, prea androgine, prea lipsite de imperfectiuni, insuficient de voluptoase samd. Se pare ca problema ar trebui mai curand legata de statutul &#8222;model de profesie&#8221; al femeilor care sunt fotografiate in reviste, si mai putin de morfologia acestora.<\/p>\n<p>Mesajul pare sa fi fost receptionat corect de unele reviste si case de moda de lux. Intitulata <em><strong>&#8222;The Real Issue: a model-free zone&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>, editia de noiembrie a <strong>Vogue UK<\/strong> prezinta in paginile sale doar femei &#8222;reale&#8221;. Spun asta cand ma gandesc la hastagul <em><strong>#realpeople<\/strong><\/em>, folosit de Dolce &amp; Gabbana (care are o puternica nota de superioritate si de artificial), dar si la fotografiile campaniei de toamna-iarna 2016, cu manechine luxos imbracate alaturi de un grup de fete extaziate, imbracate in haine cat se poate de comune. Poftim???<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8222;I\u2019ve been pondering long and hard over who this dichotomy insults more: the models with the insinuation that they\u2019re fake women, or the non-models with the overt suggestion that they\u2019re barely evolved peasants rolling in the mud at the foothills of the models\u2019 golden palaces. And after much consideration, I\u2019ve settled on the latter. Oh, pity us potato-faced proles, living alongside the perfect superhumans that are the models!&#8221; <em>Hadley Freeman<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dupa ce continua articolul pe un ton la fel de sarcastic, Freeman concluzioneaza:<em> &#8222;In the new Vogue, [&#8230;] \u201creal women\u201d are represented by the impossibly beautiful 55-year-old Spanish-Vietnamese-American actor (and, ahem, model) Anh Duong, the ridiculously sexy 30-year-old playwright Polly Stenham and the gorgeous artist Phoebe Collings-James. Well, all I can say is, if these are \u201creal women\u201d then I must be a troglodyte.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cu alte cuvinte, vorbim despre Vogue, evident ca vor fotografia tot femei superbe, care sunt departe de a reprezenta o medie estetica sau diversitatea intregii populatii feminine! La ce serveste acest efort, daca doar inlocuiesti femei frumoase care fac cariera de pe urma fizicului lor ireprosabil, cu alte femei la fel de frumoase dar care au alte profesii?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parerea mea<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Utilizarea termenului de &#8222;femeie adevarata&#8221; ma agaseaza din ce in ce mai mult. Pana la proba contrarie, si manechinele sunt facute din carne, oase si sange, la fel ca toate celelalte femei. Este adevarat ca isi supravegheaza cu religiozitate numarul de kilograme, dar la fel fac anumiti atleti (boxerii, in functie de categorie), balerinele, dansatoarele, cosmonautii si jocheii; asta nu inseamna ca lor li se retrage statutul de &#8222;real&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Ce inseamna, de fapt, o &#8222;femeie reala&#8221;? Unde locuieste, ce munceste, cu ce isi ocupa timpul? Cum arata o adevarata &#8222;femeie reala&#8221;? Pentru moment, mi se pare ca moda si marketingul folosesc etichete vandabile si usor de digerat, cu simplul scop de a vinde intreg tirajul unei reviste, de a creste expunerea unei campanii, de a face valva in jurul unui non-subiect.<\/p>\n<p>Cat despre brandurile de lux, demersurile lor nu fac decat sa transmita un mesaj arogant si condescendent. Iluzia ca luxul este accesibil tuturor este fals.<\/p>\n<p>Voi ce parere aveti despre demersul ultimei editii Vogue UK?
